My entry for the scribble contest. I thought I was going to run out of time but managed to complete it. First 2D piece for a long long time, had fun!

There's a dolphin somewhere!!

:: FULL RESOLUTION RECOMMENDED ::

Lines: Are used twice. Once for the main composition, and also one of the signs on a building with the lines in their original state

This is awesome. :) Nice piece. Such a shame the skribble contest didn't turn out as most of us thought it would. I think you did really well with this piece, and for me the skribbles are more obvious than 2 of the actual winners.

wooow! I usually don't go for pictures like this at all (sci-fi is just not my thing I guess) but I just wanted to drop by and say I love the way you used the scribbles for the entire composition! It's really amazing and I can't remember seeing that in a lot of the other entries! :D (of course the rest of it is awesome too ;))

however the lines are not like they were so the rules are not respected neither in your entry.

Like many others, I think this entry should have been in the semi-finals. But I think the judges over looked it because they couldn't see the lines easily enough. I saw the shapes immediately, and I think it's amazing how you've put them in. The judges on the other hand probably didn't want to take the time to find them.

I looked at the semi-finals again, and the judges for these massive DA contests seem to pick some of the loudest, and busiest pieces for winners. I like your entry because there is composition and a soft beautiful color scheme. It's a great piece!
